The Risks of Running a Franchise in Junk Removal

Running a franchise can be risky business, especially when other franchisees don't prioritize the brand.

I had a similar experience in Milwaukee with a fellow franchisee who neglected his responsibilities, leaving me to deal with angry customers and frustrated realtors. Despite being a nice guy and a former Marine and firefighter, he just wasn't cut out for entrepreneurship.

It got to a point where I was even asked to babysit him and do his job for him, which was a clear violation of our franchise agreement.

Unfortunately, his poor performance reflected badly on the entire franchise and hurt our local reputation.

Now that I'm independent, I'm only focused on building up my own name and brand.

Be aware of the franchise you’re joining before joining it.
