Okay—what does that actually mean?
Too many people hear that and freeze. Not me. I ask better questions:
“What does tight mean to you?”
“What can you afford right now?”
Look—someone told me they had $1,000 for a $3,500 job. That’s not a conversation, that’s a mismatch. I moved on.
The sooner you get a no, the faster you can find the hell yes you're looking for.
Stop chasing ghosts. Qualify the deal, or cut it loose. Your time isn’t free—and it sure as hell isn’t for everyone.
