I've been in media all my adult life. Most of that was in the Television and Film industry. Storytelling was always important to me, as it plays a big role in how we do business on a daily basis. Fast forward to now, I'm spending most of my time helping SMBs market their thing. Sometimes that involves video production, other times it's helping them use and understand the digital world we live in- mostly social media marketing. Visual Edge (Five Star Vets) serves SMBs with digital business consulting, marketing consulting, SaaS and complete DFY content marketing packages.
As a retired Photojournalist from the Navy Reserve, I've had the opportunity to visit many different countries, participate in a multitude of exercises and meet some amazing people. I've boarded over 100 Navy Ships, hung out of Helicopters shooting video, filmed operators as they took airborne from a C-17, rode in multiple combat boats (RHIBS) and only fell in the water once. Seeing the Navy through the lens gave me a greater appreciation of how to serve people now.
